Tango Bo Jangle

The end of a long, arduous week!

  • Travel 1850 miles
  • Settle in with mom
  • Cook meals, help with other stuff
  • Adjust to time zone two hours later, which has affected my sleep schedule
  • Adapt to big city driving in a small car: to and from hospital and grocery store
  • Adapt to a different way of living- the hallway here is longer than my RV.
  • Tweak writing and reading schedules
  • Work in exercise with Tango
  • Remember how to live in humidity and with constant sweat

Good thing I still adapt easily! Good thing I have my trusty, loyal dog! Tonight I flopped onto the bed so I could read and Tango joined me. Usually, he just curls up next to me, but tonight he made a big point of laying on top of my foot. Not just a paw or leg, his entire body over my foot. It warmed up fast, which felt good. The best part: it seemed to be a gesture of caring and solidarity.

Good dog, good dog, Tango Bo Jangle.

Maybe he sees it differently:
