5k Training

Most every spring I set a goal to RUN a 5K. I have walked 5Ks and run/walked 5Ks. I have never just RUN one. I find a training plan online and get to work. However, I am not used to rigorous training so I don’t get as far with my training as I would like. I find soooo many excuses that shortcut my training.

This year I am thinking that if I blog about it, perhaps that will be the motivation I need to keep at it.
So, April 1, I am going to start two things:

  •  5K training for beginning runners
  • Using a pedometer and moving 10,000 steps per day.

Shortly I will blog about the plan and let you know the brand of my new pedometer.
