Weekly Summary

Interesting Tech Discovery: Kindle Fire acts weird and won’t charge when plugged into 12 volt outlet. It charges fine with plugged into the 110 outlet.

Most interesting Montana City that I Passed Through: Bozeman

Best Drink This Week: Bud Light Lime and Clamato (Chelada)

Best Serendipity: Stumbling onto Ten Sleep Music Festival and ultra cool, tree-shaded little RV Park.

Most Interesting Discovery: I love festivals and camping out with folks who are here for the music too! More of these in my future. Any ideas?

Best Festival Food: Pulled pork sandwich on homemade bun.

Minor Annoyance: Yippy dogs at the campground

Continuing Annoyance: Smoky air from multitude of northwest fires

Biggest Luxury This Week: Daily hot showers

Biggest Accomplishment: more than half-way done (and cruising to the finish line) with both of my sabbatical projects (a new confirmation curriculum and a heritage cookbook).

Best Tango Moment: Watching him snooze under Half Moon.

New Event in September: I was asked to officiate at the wedding of a lovely young woman and her man. It is a good thing I am rested: that makes two September weddings

Great new (digital CD) Putamayo Presents: Acoustic Cafe (I discovered several new to me artists and ended up downloading some of their music)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Best Music Hoarder Discovery: If you are an Amazon Prime member you can add many things to your music library FOR FREE and have unlimited streaming from your library on the Amazon cloud. Listened until about 2 AM this morning and again after waking up.

Newest Sleeping Arrangement: When I popped up here, I  left the dinette in the gaucho bed formation. I sleep on that, which is similar to a twin bed. My wide sleeping pad fits perfectly. An electrical outlet is right there also, so I can keep the computer or a Kindle plugged in while I do stuff at night, like listen to music or watch a movie. Tango sleeps on the closest bunk end.

Thinking Cap Moment: I realized that warranty for Half Moon is about to expire. I called dealer to notify them of some small warranty issues that developed this trip before warranty expires and set appt for Sept 15.
