Clean Fingernails in Coeur D’Alene

Reentry into civilization. Culture, coffee shops, healthy food, people, glorious people. In the parking lot, a cheery guy playing guitar to his lady, who was sitting in her car. Man in the choral concert Tuesday night with a man bun, something I have seen online but never in person. A friend from online who opened her house, heart, and back yard to Tango and me while the next life adventure reveals itself. DIL who misses me and wants me to come by a visit. I want to hug everyone I see, Thanks for being here. Thanks for smiling. Thanks for being different, creative, quirky. Hey you, free spirit over there. I love you, sista.

The setting! Endless evergreens, Lake Coeur D’Alene. Quaint downtown. Exquisite library. Free concerts. Farmer’s Market, National Forest Land and camping all around the area. Rivers. Majestic mountains. Sunshine. I am staying just a few blocks from the lake.

A part time job while I consider what is next! Home Depot Coeur D’Alene hired me as a seasonal garden department employee. Working with plants for a while shall be divine, and the job will keep me strong. I cleaned up nicely for the interviews, even digging out all the camping debris from under my fingernails. I followed up by rubbing Sweet Almond Oil (the good stuff for “mature” skin) into the cuticles. Spiffy.

It’s a Tigger-kind-of life in Coeur D’Alene. I don’t want to reenter adult life ever again.
