Happy Day

Tango and I explored on foot this morning, walking a large circle.  We walked first to our beach, then east around the tip of the island and along Mobile Bay. We passed Fort Gaines but no developments! This section only has the park where I am staying (run by a Parks and Beach board), a couple of research facilities, the Fort, and a small park with a boat ramp. Tango loves the beach. He does not go in the water, but he prances around all full of excitement.  He is like a kid once he gets in the sand. Yipppeeee.

I found the perfect put-in place for the kayak. It is a few blocks away, across from Fort Gaines.

Will be going out on Christmas Day. I could go earlier, but waiting till Christmas Day will make it even more special. That is also the warmest day this week, although I will probably wear at least my wet suit jacket and boots. As for dinner that day,  I will go by the local fish market to see what I can get. I love ciopinno, which requires a mixture of shellfish and regular fish. Hoping for just the right ingredients at the market.

  1. And a very Happy Christmas to you to and, of course, to Tango. May 2017 be a peaceful year.
