5K Training – Week 6

Boy, did I poop out last week. The massage helped but everything still hurt. I managed to stretch out a bit and walk a few times, but that is it! I don’t know what hit me. For a while I obsessed about having Rocky Mountain Tick Fever or Lyme Disease, after finding some ticks on Tango while traveling. However, I don’t have many of the symptoms.

Training and traveling is difficult, but I am home now and will keep going. My focus is on stretching and strength building. For stretching, I have a stretching DVD, Yoga DVD and stretching book on Kindle. For strength training I have resistance bands and small weights. I will also go to the senior center and use their stuff. In between, I am still walking.

Hopefully some progress next week!
